الوصف الوظيفي

The Senior / Electrical Technician (High Voltage) will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of all High Voltage electrical system and equipment as well associated low voltage systems and equipment. Also, to carry out switching operations on transmission, distribution, and end elements, particularly in the high voltage processes. In addition, will be responsible for maintaining a safe and reliable field wide electrical system is critical to meeting production and injection targets.

The Senior / Electrical Technician (HV) will be responsible for but not limited to:

Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance tasks on oil field electrical equipment.
Carry out high voltage switching.
Carry out and Supervise Operation & Maintenance for both high and low voltage applications.
Develop and participate in training programs for junior electricians.
Able to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals.
Able to make “As Built” drawings.
Provide input on process optimization opportunities as they relate to equipment life cycle costs.
Ensure compliance with all company and governmental safety, environmental and health rules and regulations.
Carry out trips’ investigations and Root cause analysis (RCA).
Understands Electrical protection fundamentals and able to perform basic electrical protection testing and trouble shooting.

المهارات المطلوبة

Minimum of a College diploma with 8 years of experience in High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems & industrial equipment
Experience in power generations, transmission, and distribution systems.
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is preferred.
Holds a recognized Authorized Electrical Person Certification.
Strong working knowledge of a wide variety of oil field electrical process equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment failures and work independently when necessary.
Demonstrate knowledge in the repair, testing and maintenance various types of oil field electrical equipment, including but not limited to HV motors, VSD, UPS, Batteries & Battery chargers, transformers, HV circuit breakers, HV cables and high voltage OHL, electrical protection system.
Supervise and in charge of operation and maintenance crew/activity.
Demonstrate knowledge of electrical safety systems and regulations.
Ability to set expectations & hold others accountable to ensure safety and environmental protection for self and others.
Goop PC skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
